WIM3 3rd Thursday Talks- Susan Rodgers, activist for Hands of Hope

  • 31 North 217 Front Street McHenry, IL 60050 USA (map)
Designed to Empower a Whole Life!

WIM3 interviews Susan Rodgers, Community Relations Chair, for Hands of Hope, not-for-profit organization, which works to raise community awareness and provides resources to women and children that offer education, address health concerns and provide the tools and resources for women to be economically self sustaining in Africa.  Discussion will be around Susan’s personal trips to Africa, and how the organization’s efforts today have had enormous impact on providing hope and opportunity for women and children who want the same things we all universally value; health, safety, the ability to make a living and provide a viable future for our loved ones.

Today, Hands of Hope targets the enormous impact of poverty and the HIV/AIDS epidemic on women and children in Africa.

Women in McHenry County (WIM3)  meets, mentors, and motivates its members and guests with our program series entitled 3rd Thursday Talks- designed for women to empower a whole life!  We hope that you will join us as we tap into our physical, emotional and spiritual well being in an effort to discover what ignites our soul's fire for healing and growth.
