Tami is an instructor in a special education program at Harper College and is an Illinois certified teacher who holds a Bachelor of Science degree in education and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages.

She is also the owner of her holistic health practice called Naturally With Tami which was inspired by her own personal health journey with Lyme Disease. A lengthy battle with the disease drove Tami to complete a certification as a Natural Health Practitioner in order to help others who may be struggling with the disease as well as with any other chronic or acute health problems. She has a deep passion for educating people of all ages and has a vast understanding of natural health care. She maintains 2 office locations and also does teleconsulting for clients out-of-state and/or unable to leave their homes. 

 Her hobbies include exercising, reading/researching, writing, going to concerts, Lyme Disease advocacy, speaking engagements, podcast interviews, social media outreach, all things wellness and spending time with family and friends. 

Tami aspires to be a full-time professor and to have her own podcast. She would also like to inspire large groups of people through a TED talk or as a keynote speaker.

 Tami lives in Cary with her 2 cats and her 1-year-old daughter.
